Be whoever you want to be

For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.

Be bold and strong. During one of his speeches Barack Obama once said, “If you run you stand a chance of losing, but if you don’t run you’ve already lost”. You can change your life by start to do something. Even if you don’t win the race, that experience took you from the prior state to the current state. It doesn’t matter where you are, you are a step away from where you have been; yet you are nowhere compared to where you can go. While you might not realize it immediately, by taking the first step you grew, you developed yourself; you learnt something; just like a baby grows. Do not limit yourself. A person cannot discover new oceans unless she has the courage to lose sight of the shore

The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself. Take that risk. Like the boss you are!
